Junior Director’s Seat
NEW IN 2014 – for 8-10 year olds
July 21-25th, 2014 – Monday to Friday 9AM-3PM
Participants of this age range work together to make their very own digital films in front and behind the cameras. From Monday’s pitch to Friday afternoon’s screening, it’s a busy week of planning, shooting and editing for each and every filmmaker. Both new and experienced filmmakers welcome. No equipment necessary.
$300. See Registration and Subsidy information below for more details. All camera equipment and editing software is provided. Participants may chose to bring their own camera to use.

Parents who register more than one participant in a family automatically receive a $50 discount on each additional child.
SELKIRK COLLEGE BURSARIES
For families who need various levels of financial assistance, there is a bursary program for the summer of 2014. Upon registering for your particular program, you must let the administrative staff at Selkirk College/Kootenay School of the Arts know you are interested in receiving a bursary.
Bursaries are first come, first serve and are offered up to 50% off the total program cost for families who demonstrate need. Request the application upon registering. Receipt of this bursary is contingent upon approval by the Selkirk College administrator.
KOOTENAY KIDS SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available for students ages 12 to 19, through the Community Directed Youth Activity Grant Fund administered by Kootenay Kids.
